A 27-year-old lady, Rachel Tetteh has allegedly beheaded her husband in a bizarre circumstance at Tei Glover, a farming Community near Akyem Bosuso in Fanteakwa South District in the Eastern Region.
The incident occurred on Sunday, October 3, 2021 following a domestic quarrel between the couple.
The deceased, Lartey Daniel was 35years old.
Police have arrested Rachel Tetteh while the headless body has been deposited at the morgue for preservation and autopsy.
According to reports by StarrNews sighted by Kasatintin.com, ‘a misunderstanding ensued between the couple and while the now-deceased husband was on his way to the farm, the suspect trailed and allegedly pushed him to the ground and took control of the cutlass to cut off his head’.
The police upon receipt of information about the crime on Sunday morning, about 7:30 am, dispatched investigators to the scene.
Police investigators ‘found the lifeless body of the deceased in ash trousers over a white T-shirt lying dead in a prone position in a pool of blood with severed head along the footpath to the farm’, the report added.
They proceeded to take inventories of the crime scene and examined the body.
Afterwards, the body was deposited at Akyem Tafo Government Hospital morgue pending autopsy.
Police proceeded to arrest the suspect and retrieved the cutlass she used to commit the murder.
27-year-old Rachel Tetteh has been held in police custody and assisting with investigation.
