21-year-old Kenyan student has been sent to court for leaking the nude photos of a married woman he is dating.
The accused, Steven Wanjohi Kamande is facing three criminal charges of sending false information, threatening to kill and wrongly distributing obscene material.
The Nairobi law court found that Wanjohi persistently harrassed the husband of his alleged lover by sending him nude and intimate pictures of his wife.
According to prosecution, Wanjohi who is a university student unlawfully filmed and distributed his intimate photos with Esther Nduta Githinji with the intention to cause fear to her and her husband Joel Thuo.
The suspect allegedly sent his intimate photos with Esther to her husband as proof that he was having an affair with her.
The nak3d photos were sent via Esther’s husband Facebook page between May 1, 2021, and January 14, 2022.
The case was heard by the court on Monday, February 14.
Steven Wanjohi Kamande denied the three criminal charges levelled against him and was granted bail.
