News of the sudden death of the spiritual head of the Church of Rabbi in Ghana still sounds untrue to many people.
Prophet Kwabena Tawiah is reported to have died at the hospital on Monday, February 28, 2022 after a short illness.
‘Rip prophet kwabena Tawiah. Till we meet again on the other side’ Bishop Kwabena Asiamah better known as Ajagurajah said in a post while breaking the sad news on social media.
Prophet Kwabena Tawiah will be dearly missed for his controversial prophecies which usually made the headlines.
He shot to fame after boasting about his spiritual powers and prophesying that President Nana Akufo-Addo might give up the ghost six months into election 2020.
Prophet Tawiah alleged that some evildoers within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) were bitter about President Akuffo-Addo’s victory in 2016.
He said ‘I warned Atta Mills about the plot to kill him; he ignored me and look at what happened. They intend to use the same method to kill Nana Addo’.
The prophet later disclosed in an interview on Asempa FM that he had overturned the death hanging on the president.
According to him ‘He [President Akufo-Addo] has taken steps to avert the death. He couldn’t come to me personally, but he has sent people to me so, yes, we are frantically working on that. And I will make sure the president’s life is not terminated by some selfish individuals in his party’.
But family of the pastor are yet to make a statement on the death rumour.
