Many students were not allowed to enter the campus of Delta State Polytechnic on Thursday, February 24, 2022 because they were found to have dressed indecently.
At the campus gate, security officers did their own checks and students particularly females who were identified not to be wearing pant or brassiere were allegedly turned away.
Management of the Nigerian-based Polytechnic have defended the crude action, insisting that it is the best way to ensure discipline in the school.
Delta State Polytechnic recently declared war against indecent dressing on its campus, warning that ‘No bra, no entry, no pants, no entry’.
According to reports Kasatintin News has sighted, the school authority expressed concern that indecent dressing has become rampant within the school premises.
To control the situation, the school allegedly held a meeting and endorsed the ‘No bra, no entry, no pants, no entry’ policy for female students.
The Polytechnic is also considering introducing more harsher sanctions for students who will likely flout the new directive.
