The family of the late Samuel Aboagye, one of the eight people who perished in the devastating Ghana Air Force Z-9 helicopter crash on August 6, 2025, have allegedly dragged his widow, Abigail Aboagye to court over paternity test on.
The family have filed the lawsuit because Abigail has reportedly refused to allow a DNA test on their daughter, as demanded by the police for its further investigations.
She, on the other hand, has filed a counter-motion seeking an injunction to permanently prevent any DNA test on their daughter. She has relocated the child to the United States, claimed media reports.
It is believed that Samuel Aboagye himself was suspicious about the paternity of their daughter, suspecting he wasn’t responsible for the baby but a Member of Parliament in the Ashanti Region. (name withheld).
Samuel Aboagye is claimed to have informed family members of his intention to conduct a DNA test on the baby.
