Some African countries such as Malawi, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Ghana, Lesotho, and South Africa have in recent times legalized the use of canibis ‘wee’ for health and industrial purposes.
Clearly, the economic potential of the medicinal and industrial cannabis industry has been one of the main reasons for the change in legislation in these countries.
Until now, anyone found in possession or importing a narcotic substance ‘shall on conviction be liable to imprisonment for a term of not less than 10 years.’
People who manufactured, produced or distributed such narcotics also faced similar sanctions.

A top government official in charge of the Narcotic Control Board argued in 2014 that the ‘war’ against the use of cannabis stands to be lost as many people believe ‘what you are fighting is not a crime.’
Rastafarian and Raggae musician Ras Mpapah (we choose to call Koforidua Bob Marley) tells Kasatintin TV that use of herbs is biblical, has medicinal value and as such it is no crime if one decides to smoke wee.
