Fresh details are emerging on the reason Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong and his NPP party colleague Sylvester Tetteh nearly traded blows in Parliament House on Tuesday, February 13,2024.
Local media report that, Mr Agyapong and Syvester Tetteh of Bortianor-Naleshie Amanfro constituency had an altercation over an unpaid personal loan.
‘It was the Deputy Majority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markinw who swiftly stepped in to whisk Sly Tetteh away from the chamber’, Graphic Online stated.
The report further revealed that ‘Sly Tetteh owes Mr Agyapong and when the Assin Central MP confronted him for the money, Tetteh allegedly told him to take him to court, which apparently infuriated Mr Agyapong to react angrily’. SOURCE: Kasatintin.com
