She narrated that ‘There’s one particular doctor who takes care of me anytime I go to that hospital. He is a fine doctor, takes good care of me. I wanted to go home when I saw a new face in the consulting room. But he assured me he will look after me just as my other doctor. I accepted’.
She admitted that the doctor on duty screened her very well, gave her a prescription and asked her to buy it from a certain pharmacy behind the hospital.
‘I got home and applied the drug on my eyes. My eyes were swollen after 5 minutes. I was taken back to the hospital. They said I was given the wrong prescription form. They have apologized to me but said only surgery can correct my damaged eyes’.
Unfortunately, the victim has to bear the cost of the surgical operation. What a world!
