A female student of Nigeria’s Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic (AOPE) has been found dead in her room on Wednesday, June 14, 2023.
The deceased has been identified as Oyindasola. She is 17years old and studying mass communication at AOPE.
Cause of Oyindasola’s death is yet to be known but her course mates found her in a pool of blood in her house. Her two eyes were plucked out.
Colleagues of the victim became suspicious after she missed an exams paper on Tuesday.
One course mate said ‘When she didn’t show up for exam on Tuesday, her friends went to her house on Wednesday morning, only to discover that she has been killed and the killers plucked out her two eyes’.
Neighbours suspect ritual killing. The Eruwa Police Division has deposited the the corpse at the hospital. Police investigation is underway.
