Four passengers have been confirmed dead in a fatal lorry accident at Asuboi near Suhum in the Eastern Region on the Accra–Kumasi highway on Sunday, August 17,2025.
Seventeen other passengers in the vehicle sustained various degree of injuries.
According to authorities, the Kumasi-to-Accra-bound Sprinter bus—with registration number GW-5535-24–was on high speed when it suffered a rear tyre burst,causing the driver to lose control and crash the vehicle.
