The mortal remains of Ghanaian politician Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie popularly known as Sir John has arrived in Sakra Wonoo in the Ashanti Region.
Sir John will be laid to rest at Sakra Wonoo today Thursday, June 3, 2021.
The late politician, also a former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party and ex-boss of the Forestry Commission died at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Wednesday, July 1, 2020, after a short illness.
Reports suggest that he died of COVID-19 complications.
Photo of the supposed tomb where late Sir John will be interred has surfaced online.
The image shows a gated edifice, which looks like a two bedroom house with the portrait of the deceased on it.
If this place is truly the resting place of Sir John, then we can assure you he will have a peaceful rest.
