Renowned Ghanaian Highlife singer, Nana Kwaku Duah popularly known as Dada KD has died.
The musician’s death is not only a big loss to his immediate family but a big blow to the Ghanaian music industry.
Dada KD’s Manager, King Pee has confirmed the news of the musician’s demise.
He told MyJoyonline that ‘The musician took ill on Friday, May 16, 2025, got inactive and couldn’t talk.
They then rushed him to the Gbawe SDA Hospital, but unfortunately passed away on Friday evening’.
Kasatintin.com gathered that Dada KD had been booked to perform at a concert in London on May 25,2025.
He was billed together with other Ghanaian artistes—Obrafour, Slim Buster and Kojo Blakk.
Late Dada KD’s hit songs include Tekyere Ma, Somu Gye, Honey Love, Ene Menye, Wosuro a Wondi and a host of other songs.
