Ghana lost eight people in a military helicopter crash few weeks ago. The victims included the country’s Defence Minister, Dr Omane Boamah along with other politicians and air force officers.
A similar occurrence has hit United Kingdom on Monday,August 25,2025.
It has been confirmed that three people have died after a helicopter being used for a flying lesson crashed in a field on the Isle of Wight.
The other person onboard the aircraft was seriously injured, and airlifted to the major trauma centre at University Hospital Southampton—but in a serious condition.
The aircraft carrying the four people departed from Sandown Airport about 20 minutes before it came down beside the A3020 near Shanklin at about 09:20 BST.
