President John Mahama has directed the main telecom providers in the country to offer bigger data bundles to their customers on Thursday,6th March,2025.
MTN, Telecel and AT will offer 6GB data for just GHC10. The data is valid for 72hours.
The Minister for Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations, Sam George announced that consumers will enjoy this special Independence Day bundle offer on all mobile networks.
Sam George indicated in a Facebook that ‘All three telecom companies – MTN Ghana, Telecel Ghana and AT Ghana – have agreed to offer a GHS10 bundle which would offer 6GB of data instead of the usual 1GB regular offering or 3GB offerings on holidays for the same price’,
He maintained that ‘This initiative highlights our dedication to building the enablers for a truly digitalised Ghana, offering Ghanaians the vast opportunities of an interconnected world, all from the comfort of their homes’.
Aside the the special Independence Day bundle offer, the Ministry of Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations will on Friday, 7th March,2025 announce bigger plans aimed at reducing data prices in Ghana.
