Zoo officials in North West Province, South Africa have mounted a search for a lion which reportedly jumped out from a pickup truck.
The lion is said to be roaming in town. Others say the wild animal is harmless and has had countless interactions with tourists in the past.
This partly suggests that the zealous lion is not harmful.
A tweet from the Africa Facts Zone and sighted by Kasatintin.com stated that ‘A lion is on the run after escaping from the back of a pickup truck in North West Province, South Africa’.
