Kasatintin.com can exclusively report that sacked broadcast journalist Captain Smart has secured a new job at Onua FM, a subsidiary of Media General,operators of TV3.
Captain Smart starts work on Tuesday, June 1,2021.
According to information, the presenter will host the morning show on Onua FM. His show will also be simulcast on Akoma FM in Kumasi and Onua TV.
Captain Smart is expected to work at the station for 5 years.
The anti-corruption crusade broadcaster was suspended from Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) for attacking political leaders without substantial evidence.
The expectation was that Smart will concentrate and build his own media brand, Smart TV; he has instead joined another private employer.
Captain Smart initially shared a cryptic post on Monday May 31, announcing that effective June 1, 2021, he will join a new media house.
‘From A to A and now to K..Fiifi Pratt how are you?. 01/06/2021.’ Our understanding of this post was that he had moved from Adom FM to Angel FM and now heading to Accra-based Kingdom FM.
