An Accra Circuit Court has remanded four young men into police custody for allegedly operating fake online food delivery platforms to defraud customers.
The accused individuals, all aged 20 reportedly created fraudulent websites and social-media pages imitating top restaurants including Papaye, Pizzaman Chickenman, KFC and Mawarko.
Police say unsuspecting customers placed orders and paid through mobile money but never received their meals.
The suspects were arrested at Haatso in Accra, where twelve mobile phones believed to have been used in the scam were seized for forensic examination.
They are expected to reappear in court on November 3,2025.
