An Accra circuit court has ordered the Ghana Police to send comedian Funny Face to the Accra Psychiatric Hospital for mental evaluation.
The court directed that Funny Face requires a two week mental assessment at the psychiatry as he does not sound normal.
The court gave the directive when the Ghanaian comedian cum actor appeared before it today, Monday, February 15 for allegedly firing arms in a public place.
The police first arrested Funny Face on February 9, 2021.
He shared a video of him being taken to the court early this morning.
A few weeks ago, the comedian released his medical records in a social media post and suggested that he is mentally unstable.
A portion of the document Funny Face put out in the public read:
‘The above named is a client to our facility. He was admitted on the 10th of December, 2020 and discharged on the 14th of December, 2020…He has been scheduled for follow up visits’.
Funny Face is expected to re-appear in court in two weeks’ time after the psychiatric evaluation.
