Ghana has been ranked as the 125th happiest country in the world, and in Africa, Ghana is 19th, according to the 2025 World Happiness Report.
Ghana obtained a score of 4.340 on the World Happiness Index resulting it being ranked below 18 other African countries which include war afflicted countries Somalia and Chad.
Remarkably, Ghana has dropped in the ranking index. The country was ranked the 120th happiest country in the world in 2024.
