The police in Yobe state have confirmed the death of 65-year-old man named Kawuto.
According to police source, Kawuto was murdered by his own son,Mai Goni who is 20years.
Goni allegedly hacked his father to death with a pestle in Masaba, Bursari Local Government Area on Wednesday, February 9, at about 7:30pm.
Kawu sustained a head injury as a result of the attack and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The suspect fled the scene after the murder and has since runaway from town but the police is working hard to arrest him.
