More than 50 percent of the total number of first degree holders who sat for the 2021 Ghana School of Law entrance exam failed miserably.
Only 790 (27%) out of 2,824 candidates passed the exam organised earlier this year.
In effect, just the 790 candidates will be admitted into ‘Makola’ to be trained and fulfil their their dream of being called to the bar in this country.
In 2019, about 90% of the students who sat for the exam failed to make the required 50 per cent or better mark to gain admission into the Ghana law school
Following several agitations and protest, as high as 1,045 out of a total of 2,765 candidates passed the law school entrance exam in 2020.
