A female officer of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) identified as George has been found dead in her apartment at a Lagos military base.
Sources said George was found unresponsive at Block T5, Flat 8 in Sam Ethnan air force base in Ikeja.
She reportedly hanged herself in her room on Saturday at about 2pm.
Until her death, George was a master warrant officer serving at 651 base services group in Lagos.
NAF authorities have initiated an investigation to ascertain the cause of her death.
