In recent years, there has been a trend toward women desiring less hair in the genital area. And what accounts for this trend?
Most women no longer keep bushy hair around the genital area due to new lifestyle. The clothing choice and desire for comfort, and engagement in some form of sexual practices are influencing them to kick against bushy pubic hair.
For some women, having less hair in the genital area is in sync with one’s sense of personal hygiene and complements one’s effort of being aesthetic.
Also, participation in certain sports and exercises requires that women completely or partially shave their private part.
The function of pubic hair is to protect us, just like the hair around our ears, nose, and eyes.
Pubic hair also keeps the skin of the vulva warm and moisturized.
Again pubic hair protects the delicate skin from friction during sexual activity.
