A particular verse in the scriptures,Deuteronomy 23:1 has sparked controversy on social media.
‘No one with crushed or cut-off genitals is to enter the congregation of the Lord’, read the Bible.
It is not a problem reading that passage in English. It appears that it is much deeper but hilarious when reading it in Twi, a local language in Ghana.
Deuteronomy 23:1 in Twi states that ‘Deɛ wɔapɛkyɛ ne hwewa ne deɛ ne barima atwa no mmma AWURADE badwa mu’.
