Ghanaian footballer and Hatayspor player, Christian Atsu who was caught up in the deadly Turkey earthquake has been confirmed dead at age 31.
Official CCTV footage indicated that Atsu attempted to escape from his apartment during the tremor.
Rescuers saw his passport and shoes in the exact spot he was found dead.
Turkish agent, Murat Uzun Mehmet confirmed in a Tweet on Friday that “Christian Atsu has been found dead”. R.I.P ????????????’.
