Funny Face has been remanded into police custody for 2 weeks by the Ofaakor Circuit Court in the Awutu Senya East District of the Central Region.
Funny Face appeared before the court the first time on Tuesday,March 26, 2024 and he is facing charges of drunk driving and careless driving.
The Ghanaian comedian has been in the news since last Sunday after he accidentally knocked down at least 5 people while driving through Kasoa Kakraba in the Central Region. The victims of the tragic accident are reported to be in critical conditions.
Eyewitness accounts suggested that Funny Face was drunk at the time of the incident.
The Ghanaian celebrity will remain in police custody for 2 weeks, pending further legal proceedings.
