The Deputy Volta North Regional Police Commander,ACP Antiri-Addo Nicolas Aletso has been found dead in a hotel room at Hohoe on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.
ACP Antiri-Addo’s lifeless body was found in a lateral position while the door to his hotel room was also not locked. But, no foul play has been detected at the preliminary stage of investigations.
Local media reports that family of the deceased became alarmed after they were unable to reach him through his phone for countless hours.
They therefore lodged a complaint with the Regional Police Command who then dispatched investigators to Obama Hotel and found ACP Antiri-Addo’s body in room number 4.
According to information, the deceased ACP had been at post nearly a month and was lodging at the hotel as his place of abode when the unfortunate incident happened.
His body has been conveyed to the Police Hospital Mortuary in Accra, pending an autopsy.
