President Nana Akufo-Addo addressed the nation on Sunday 19th April, 2020.

Akufo-addo lifted the partial lockdown on some part of the country necessitated by the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Greater Accra, Tema, Kumasi and Kasoa were placed under a three-week lockdown purposely to contain the spread of the virus.

According to the President, the restriction of movements in these areas has achieved its objectives- need to scale up tracing and testing people who may have come into contact with those who had already tested positive.

President Akufo-Addo also urged Ghanaians to use face masks to avert contracting the deadly coronavirus.

The President gave his 6th address to the nation on how government was responding to the COVID-19 pandemic in the country last Thursday.

It will be recalled that private broadcaster GHOne mistakenly aired a wild p0rn0 vide0 before telecasting President Akufo-Addo’s address. This caused a national erect!0n.

Acting General Manager of the channel, Nana Aba Anamoah admitted in an official statement sighted by Kasatintin.com that ‘…the nature of the content tonight was inappropriate’.

She indicated that ‘Whilst we promise that this incident will not repeat itself,we will also ensure that the officers responsible for the mishap are sanctioned’.

Meanwhile, Ghanaian Prophet Reverend Opambour wants the government to do reconsider its decision on ban on church service .

Opambour, who is also popularly known as Prophet 1 on Sunday Morning appealed to government to lift the ban on social gatherings to allow Christians to go to church and pray against the coronavirus curse.
