Ghanaians have expressed shock and disbelief over the amount of money the Presidency spent on replacing the tyres and batteries of vehicles in its pool in 9 months.

According to Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, MP for North-Tongu Constituency, between January and September 2022, ‘Tyres and Batteries for official vehicles cost the suffering Ghanaian taxpayer an unbelievable GHS15million (15,000,000.00)’.

In a Facebook post on Monday, January 31, he also revealed how the Presidency allegedly spent millions of cedis in the name of  ‘operational enhancement expenditure’.

‘The President’s ‘operational enhancement expenditure’ (whatever that animal is) cost the suffering Ghanaian taxpayer a mind-boggling GH¢59.4million (59,486,108.91)’.
