President John Dramani Mahama has warned his appointees to steer clear of corruption or face severe consequences.
In his address to the Christian Council of Ghana at the Jubilee House on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, Mahama indicated that his administration will not tolerate corruption, and those found guilty will face the full force of the law.
Citing ongoing probes into alleged corruption scandals involving officials from the previous administration, President Mahama stated that the suspects are not victims of witch-hunting but the process is about demanding accountability for Ghanaians.
In a humorous tone, the President added that he will not hesitate to take drastic action against his own corrupt officials, saying he would hang them on the cross and nail them if necessary.
