Richard Appiah, a footballer who has been accused of killing and storing body parts of two teenagers in a fridge at Abesim in the Bono Region was brought back to court on Tuesday, November 17,2021.
The accused was brought to court under police escort.
Appiah has been on remand over a month following the alleged killing of two minors–Louis Agyeman and Stephen Sarpong.
Police investigators stormed Appiah’s home on August 20, 2021 and found pieces of fresh human body parts stored in a fridge.
The intestines of one of the teenaged victims buried in a cocoa farm at Abesim was exhumed and taken to the lab for forensic examination.
Two cutlasses with bloodstains were also retrieved from the same scene.
The case was adjourned to December 16, 2021 when the accused appeared before the court on Tuesday.
This was because the Magistrate hearing the case at the Kaneshie District Court is on leave.
