Michael Okyere Baafi, member of parliament for New Juaben South constituency is confident the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) will retain power in 2024.
The NPP has been in power since 2016 and it is determined to win the next elections although there is general ecomonic hardship under the government.
Okyere Baafi said the NPP has outlined strategies to attract young people in tertiary institutions to vote for the party.
According to him, the NPP is targeting 70% votes from students in nursing training colleges and universities to realize the ‘breaking the 8’ agenda.
