Fuel prices will likely go up sharply at the pumps from Tuesday,September 16,2025.

The new fuel prices projected by the Chamber of Petroleum Consumers (COPEC) as the second pricing window opens are largely due to the sharp depreciation of the Ghana cedi against the US dollar, which dipped by 8.62% within the current pricing window, moving from GHS11.03 to GHS12.07 per dollar.

COPEC predicts that petrol prices will rise by at least 3.98%, diesel by 9.41%, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by 7.65%.

Per the estimations, petrol could sell at an average of GHS13.61 per litre (up from the current GHS13.09).

On the other hand, Diesel, now sold at GHS13.32 is set to move to GHS14.08 per litre.

LPG will likely sell at the pumps at an average of GHS12.52 per kilogram.
