A young boy identified as Emma Ereegarnoma has been arrested by Nigerian police for allegedly removing his mother’s eyes for money rituals.
The suspect, according to information gathered by Kasatintin.com carried out the act on Tuesday September 14 at his residence in Okuokoko town in Okpe Local government area of Delta state, in a bid to buy a Mercedes Benz.
Emma promised his petty trader mother a surprise package and invited her to his home on that fateful day.
She was excited as she walked in and heard a loud music playing from his son’s home theatre.
After welcoming her, Emma quickly locked the main door and started to strangle her mum.
He tried to pluck out her eyes.
The loud music in the house submerged her cries for help.
She later managed to break free and ran out to neighbours who rescued her.
Neighbours caught Emma and handed him over to the police.
The sakawa boy had earlier bragged about buying a Benz GLK this week.
Emma Ereegarnoma has been detained at Orerokpe police station while his mother receives medical care at a hospital in Okuokoko.
