Pro-NDC radio station Power FM has started playing victory songs for John Dramani Mahama.
Presenters of the Accra-based media house Tuesday morning urged NDC supporters to stay calm as information they have on the 2020 election results is in favour of the party.
The FM station played ‘Aposor’ by musician Nicholas Omane Acheampong to suggest that President Nana Akufo-Addo will hand over power to Mahama in January 2021.
Mahama has meanwhile thanked Ghanaians for coming out in their numbers to exercise their franchise on Monday.
The former president indicated in a social media post that, the results he has received across all the nation looks good and it’s a must-win for him and the NDC party.
‘Thank you for coming out to vote in today’s election. Very good results from all parts of the country’, he wrote in a social media post.
Mr. Mahama again called on the voting population to remain vigilant as results entered the collation stage.
‘Let’s stay focused and stay to the end ROAR’, Mahama added.
