Self-acclaimed Angel of God, Bishop Daniel Obinim is ‘critically ill’ and has been on admission at a private hospital in Accra since Thursday May 14.
Angel Obinim reportedly suffered a heart attack when police CID attempted to arrest him physically in his house on Thursday.
The man of God is said to have passed out in the presence of the police officers who caused his arrest.
Many suggest Angel Obinim might have been terrified by the sudden arrest. Information say the controversial pastor began to complain about severe chest pains, and numbness in his legs. He couldn’t walk again.
‘Ao, I’m dying. God help me. Nimokafuri, Ayetemfrem save me’, Angel Obinim allegedly said while the police rushed him to the Yeboah Hospital at East Legon in Accra.
The police are yet to give any official information on why the founder and leader of the International God’s Way Church is under arrest.
Prior to the latest development, Assin Central Member of Parliament Kennedy Agyapong leveled serious allegations including fraud against Angel Obinim and vowed to make him face the full rigors of the law.
Speaking on his own private radio station, Oman FM on Friday, Kennedy Agyapong said Obinim was just faking sickness to avoid arrest.
‘He said The police told me he had a heart attack but I know he is lying. Obinim you cannot be at the Yeboah Hospital forever’.
Though we do not know the exact condition of Angel Obinim, we are optimistic he will fly to heaven for a cure for his reported illness.
