Two popular candidates who had higher hopes of winning the NDC parliamentary primaries on Saturday have been subjected to social media trolls after they lost the election.
Juliana Kinang-Wassan failed to unseat the incumbent member of parliament for Ejura-Sekyedumase constituency while A.B Fuseini lost his seat at Sagnarigu constituency.
Juliana’s defeat came as a surprise to many considering the fact that she caught the attention of delegates by spraying bundles of cash on them on election day.
In one viral video, she was captured throwing monies from her car to delegates and members of the public.
Delegates took the money alright; Juliana Kinang-Wassan lost the election anyway.
Meanwhile, Juliana is reported to have explained in a media that she decided to give out the monies after she found it in her car.
A.B Fuseini has not made any statement regarding the outcome of the primaries. Yet. we know that for a man who has died in the market, we don’t need to announce his funeral again.
