The world is mourning the tragic death of Sasha, an animal rescuer.
According to information from Network for Animals, Sasha chose to stay in Ukraine in the midst of the Russian missle attacks to take care of her animals.
‘She paid the ultimate price when a rocket hit her home last night. Rest in peace, Sasha. We are devastated’, the Network For Animals tweeted on Tuesday.
The animal rights organisation described Sasha as a hero and said:
‘We are absolutely shattered by the profound loss of animal rescuer, Sasha of Ukraine. She was a hero who chose to stay in #Ukraine to take care of her animals. She paid the ultimate price when a rocket hit her home last night. Rest in peace, Sasha. We are devastated’.
