A communication officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Region, named Osei Yaw Akoto has been stabbed to death by his wife,Abigail.
Akoto, who is popularly known as ‘Borga’ died from the injuries he suffered on Thursday night in Asante Mampong.
The suspect allegedly killed the NDC communicator during a fight that ensued between them.
Neighbours say the deceased, 45 and his wife are known to engage in frequent quarrels, unfortunately, Thursday’s incident resulted in the untimely death of former.
Abigail has since been arrested and assisting police with investigations. She has ‘admitted to stabbing her husband but not with the intention to kill’, local media reported.
Osei Yaw Akoto and his wife have 3 children together. They have lived in a 3-bedroom apartment at Kofi Sarpong, a suburb of Mampong in the Ashanti Region, nearly a year. SOURCE: Kasatintin.com
