Ghanaian actress Rosemond Alade Brown better known as Akuapem Poloo sent an emotional message to her lovely son on Sunday, Father’s Day.
Being a single mother too, Poloo also commended women in similar situation ‘for taking the duties of fathers’.
She posted a photo of herself and son wearing a classic African print outfit online and said:
‘I love you@sonof_poloo thanks for making me a mother and a father as well happy Father’s Day to me and all the single mothers out there who are taking the duties of fathers’.
This single post is an indication that Akuapem Poloo is living a good life after a circuit court handed her 90 days jail term for sharing a nude photo on her son’s birthday.
‘I didn’t know and I did it and this is what I got myself into. So please especially the nudity, I beg you, we should put a stop to it. Nudity is not good’, she stated at a press conference when lawyer Andrew Vortia appealed the judgement at the high court and she was subsequently granted bail.
Akuapem Poloo’s baby daddy Rashid Yakubu reacted to the news of the actress’ arrest and said he was ready to settle any differences between them.
In an interview on Okay FM monitored by Kasatintin.com, Rashid said ‘I want to put this on record; I am really sorry for Poloo for the pain she is going through now. She got my support. She will be home today and I got to be there’.
Rashid added that he will have another child with Poloo if she gives him the chance.
