For the first time in history, a baby has been born with three penises. The baby boy was delivered in Iraqi town of Duhak.
Doctors have indeed confirm that the three-month-old boy is the first-ever human to be born with such features which is medically termed as Triphallia (tri meaning three and phallia referring to s#x organ). The condition is estimated to affect one in every 5-6 million live births.
Kasatintin.com’s investigations reveal that the baby’s parents sent him to the hospital and reported that the infant had a swelling in his scrotum.
During medical examination however, doctors discovered that the baby had two more penises growing from his scrotum. They also found one growing near the root of his primary penis, the third one could be seen growing under the scrotum.
Doctors called this a rare case because the baby was not exposed to any drugs while in the womb neither did the boy’s family have a history of genetic anomalies.
The baby went through an emergency surgery and his two extra penises were removed because they lacked an urethra.
In a related news, a woman born with two wombs, two cervix and two vaginas has become a mother despite being told by doctors some years ago that she cannot conceive and subsequently give birth.
Eleanor Rowe, 36, discovered she had two cervix and two vaginas after going through an investigative operation at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in London in 2013.
Results of a 3D scan at a London clinic also showed that Eleanor possibly had two wombs.
So awful, in 2015, doctors removed the wall that divided Eleanor’s vaginas — leaving her with two cervix and wombs; they said it was unlikely for her to get pregnant.
Eleanor stated that : ‘They said getting a baby to full termination would be a process and that every time I would get pregnant it would help to stretch out the womb.I was also told that there was a 90 per cent chance I would miscarry. That was horrific to hear.’
It is still a miracle as to how Eleanor got pregnant and gave birth to Imogen Rose through caesarean section (C-section) in July 2019.
