A young boy [name withheld] who attends a Lagos-based private junior high school has been dismissed for allegedly attempting to k!ll his female classmate,11 by putting acid inside her water bottle.
Kasatintin.com gathers that the teenager who is in form one, became envious of his female colleague after she beat him to the first position in both the first and second term exams.
In order to eliminate his competitor in the third term, the ‘smart’ boy stole a vial of sulphuric acid and ethanol from the school’s lab, mixed the two chemicals together and poured them into the classmate’s water bottle.
Luck was however not on his side. Two pupils of the school caught him in the act and reported it to the school management.
The school summarily dismissed the junior high school boy to serve as a lesson to other students.
