Suspended Angel Fm morning show host Captain Smart is heading back to Adom FM, according to information gathered by Kasatintin.com.
The outspoken Ghanaian media personality was yanked off-air on Thursday over wild claims that he has ‘insulted’ President Nana Akufo-Addo, his Vice Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and Trade and Industry Minister, Alan Kyerenanten as well as the Inspector General of Police on his radio programme.
Captain Smart, in an interview with Paul Adom Otchere revealed exactly what led to his ‘sacking’ from Angel FM.
According to him, the NPP, not too happy with some of the utterances he makes on his show has been ‘harassing’ his boss, Dr Kwaku Oteng to kick him out.
Captain Smart alleged that, the ruling party threatened Dr Kwaku Oteng with some letters from the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) which made him bow to the pressure of ‘sacking’ him.
But the broadcaster has indicated his readiness to render an apology to the top political elites he has offended on his show.
Kasatintin.com understands that Captain Smart has considered quiting Angel FM. He is more likely to return to Adom FM.
But he can not move to any media house for now as that will be in breach of the contract he signed with Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN).
