A Zimbabwean man has been jailed for 9 months for assaulting a stranger who spanked his girlfriend’s buttocks.
According to reports sighted by Kasatintin.com, the Victoria Falls man identified as Bornwell Sibanda and his girlfriend were walking in town when they met Mbekezeli Mpofu who suddenly spanked the woman on her buttocks.
Sibanda got angry and jumped on Mpofu, slapped him once on the face before punching and kicking him on the mouth and stomach.
Mpofu was severely injured with blood stain all over him.
His left eye and lower lip were swollen while receiving treatment at the Victoria Falls Hospital.
Mpofu filed a complaint with the police. Sibanda was arrested and later sent to court.
The magistrate sentenced Sibanda to 9 months in prison after he pleaded guilty in the courtroom.
