Former President Jerry John Rawlings is expected to be buried at the Military Cemetery today, Wednesday January 27.
The general public have known grieving Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings to be the only wife of the deceased.
But latest events that have unfolded have given the indication that Rawlings may have had other mistresses aside Konadu Agyaman.
Just a few weeks after his death, one Scottish-Ivorian woman named Nathalie Yamb described Rawlings as her ‘soulmate’ and shared a photo of a 21year old boy, Malik Stephane she and Rawlings allegedly had together.
Yamb further eulogized the statesman in an Instagram post and saying:
‘Mentor. Friend. Inspiration. My twin. The most transformative leader Africa ever had. We are going to ensure your legacy lives forever..’.
Rawlings’ funeral ceremony has literally turned into an identification parade.
While people are mourning, other ladies have stormed the funeral grounds at different times, claiming to be the biological children of the late former Ghanaian President.
Abigail Mawutor Rawlings, 52 years old caused a scene at the Accra International Conference Centre when security officers attempted to prevent her from paying his last respect to her ‘father’s’ mortal remains.
According to her, she fled to Togo after she confessed to Maame Dokono how Rawlings impregnated her mother at a younger age.
‘Maame Dokono knows about this. In 2003, I paid a visit and told her about my story, but she told me if I don’t keep quiet about it I may die. So she gave me money and I left the country’, Abigail Mawutor said and indicated her preparedness to undergo a paternity test to prove her claim.
Earlier Tuesday, another lady called Kate Yeboah Rawlings showed up on social media and alleged that she is also the blood daughter of Rawlings.
Quite similar to the story of the former, Kate Yeboah said her ‘father’ was very responsible–paid her schools and sent money all the time for her upkeep.
She promised to publish the last conversation she had with Rawlings before he passed on in due course.
Here are some photos of Kate Yeboah (Scroll down).
