Afua Asantewaa has provided a nice response to critics who are giving her headache for declaring her admiration for young highlife musician Kuami Eugene.
Afua, who is legally married to Kofi Aduonum had stated in an interview on Joy Prime that the highlife artiste was her crush, stressing her fondness for him affected her performance during the Sing-a-thon.
It will be recalled that Kuami Eugene visited Afua Asantewaa at the Akwaaba Village during her Guinness World Records attempt from December 24, 2023 to December 27, 2023. Afua said she forgot her lyrics upon seeing the musician.
‘I said that guy came, and I could not remember my lyrics. I said ‘this guy has worried me.’ If Guinness people don’t give me the record, it’s Kuami Eugene’, she stated in the Joy Prime interview.
As a married woman, the public held her neck for declaring her affection for another man.
In response to the trolls and backlash, Afua dropped a post on social media saying her husband is also crushing on veteran Nigerian actress Omotola.
She said ‘Aaaw, jokes turn bitter pills. Husby sef his crush is Omotola (honey will say ah bebe). Don’t give yourselves a headache, wai na life is too short’.
Meanwhile, Chef Failatu Abdul Razak has officially ended her cooking marathon on Wednesday, January 10,2024. She cooked for 10days with a record of 227 hours in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon (Watch the video below).
