Ghanaian journalist Kofi Adomah Nwanwani has reportedly been shot in the eye while partaking in a traditional event in Dormaa in the Bono Region.
He has suffered severe eye injury, and currently receiving treatment at the hospital.
Reports suggest that Kofi Adomah Nwanwani was struck in the eye by gunpowder when musketry accidentally fired shots in his direction.
Kofi’s closet friend in the media, Afia Pokuaa Vim Lady wished him a speedy recovery in her Facebook post dated Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
She wrote: ‘Yesu, Kofi, I’m praying for your full recovery and healing. Kofi Adomah, I have been panicking since hearing the news that you were shot in the eye. May the Lord work overtime on you’.
