Nigerian lecturer who is a staff of Kwara State University, Malete was on Tuesday put before a Magistrate’s Court in Ilorin, Kwara State over a horrible sex for grade scandal.
The suspect, Pelumi Adewole is alleged to have threatened to fail one Adegunsoye Faith Tosin, a student of the Department of Pure and Applied Science in her exams if she refused to have sexual intercourse with him.
Miss Adegunsoye reported the matter to University management and the police.
Due to the threat issued by the lecturer, the police directed Miss Adegunsoye to play along with him in order to obtain raw evidence.
Reports said Adewele tactically lured the female student into his bedroom apartment at Taoheed Road, Basin Area, Ilorin at 8.30pm where he gave her a new question paper and answer sheet to rewrite her exam (MLS 212 Cell and Molecular Biology).

Detectives from the State Intelligence Bureau (SIB) who were hiding at a distant location busted him when he was about to b0nk the lady.
Pelumi Adewole has been charged for criminal intimidation, sexual harassment, and examination malpractices, among others as his conduct contravenes Sections 397 and 95 of the Penal Code Law and Section 3(320) of the Examination Malpractices Act Cap. E15 Law of the Federation of Nigeria 2004.
The court has granted the accused bail in the sum of N200,000. But lecturer Pelumi will be back in court on 8th December, 2021.
