A few hours ago, reports went round that celebrated Ghanaian dancehall singer Shatta Wale has been shot at by unknown gunmen at East Legon in Accra on Monday, October 18,2021.
A personal assistant (PA) to the musician alleged in a social media post that Shatta was in a critical condition following the gunshots he received from his attackers.
He continued that the singer had been admitted at the emergency unit of a hospital in Accra he failed to name.

According to him, he was responding to treatment.
A section of the public fear the musician may be dead while others remain hopeful he would survive the gunshot wounds as claimed by his PA.
Kasatintin.com can report that the Ghana Police Service has shown an interest in the widely circulated news on the alleged gunshot-attack on Shatta Wale.
The police has issued a statement indicating that it has launched full scale investigation into the matter.
As part of preliminary investigations, it has dispatched a team to visit the house of Shatta Wale and ‘he cannot be found there’.
Aside this,police investigators have made ‘contacts with some of his close friends and family members and all of them claim not to have knowledge of his whereabout or the alleged incident’.
The search party also searched for him at major hospitals in Accra yet Shatta Wale has not been found.

The police is appealing to the public to provide any information concerning the whereabouts of Shatta Wale to the numbers 18555, 191 and 0302773906.
Kasatintin.com is learning that Shatta may have staged the shooting incident to mock Ghanaian pastor, Jesus Ahoufe, who had prophesied some months ago that a misfortune will befall Shatta Wale on 18th October, 2021.

Police Investigate Claims of Shooting Incident Involving Shatta Wale
The attention of the Police has been drawn to the widely circulated news on the alleged gunshot-attack on one Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale.
On hearing the news, the police have launched an investigation into the matter including making contacts with some of his close friends and family members and all of them claim not to have knowledge of his whereabout or the alleged incident.
A team has visited the house of Shatta Wale and he cannot be found there.
Over the last few hours, the Police have searched and continue to look for Shatta Wale at hospitals in Accra.
Whilst we continue our investigations, the Police is appealing to the public to provide any information concerning the whereabouts of Shatta Wale to the numbers 18555, 191 and 0302773906.
