A radio presenter by name Oheneba Boamah Bennie, who works with pro-NDC station, Power FM is reported to have been invited by the Police CID to answer questions relating to threats he issued against President Nana Akufo-Addo.
According to a letter circulating on social media, the Police stated that the journalist ‘recorded a live Facebook video in which he was heard insulting and issuing series of threats to the President of the Republic of Ghana’.
The video is said to have been recorded on December 9, 2020 at 10:41am following the declaration of the 2020 election results and shared the next day at 12:54pm.
The letter requested the Management of Power FM to release Oheneba Boamah, the co-host of Inside Politics show for questioning at the CID headquarters on Monday December 14, 2020 at 1:00pm.
